Here's my garment rack "wall" and display for the rugs. I bought the garment racks at WalMart. The top tube extends out to the side if you want. The side tubes telescope so the rack can be shorter. I carefully drilled holes the size needed to put steel rods through. The next picture shows how I hung rugs over "flat" at my booth. This doesn't work at all at an outside show unless you lower the side tubes and eliminate one rod. Otherwise the rack will blow over in the wind.
I used two racks side by side at the back of this booth and was able to hang rugs between the racks on the extensions. There was a tall backdrop behind that also, so that is why you see two more rugs hanging a bit higher than the garment racks could possibly be. Also a note. Don't put any rugs on the floor where people have to walk as they did not want to come into the booth as long as I had those two little scatter rugs on the floor at the front of the booth. Needless to say, I removed the rugs. |
